Price Shopping - For Healthcare????

While we're talkin' a bit about health... Let's talk about this new service - VIMO. Sometimes I wonder where doctors get off charging what they do. I don’t see it as often as Roomie does because you know living here in the land of the Rat - you don't really get insurance as a park worker or working in the area. They consider it lucky if you get 5 cents above minimum wage - insurance - you won't need insurance - you'll be working your ears, I mean tail off for the rat and his cronies who HAVE insurance.

So - this is a good resource to do a bit of "price shopping", research on doctors and HMA/FSA Plans. Now, during elections time I normally draw a blank and, much like my choice of Kitchen appliances, I have a "Mmmmmkay - that sounds good" without really grasping the insurance plan, ya know? It's all greek to me. So to find a place that kinda breaks it down is very helpful AND helps me maximize my insurance dollar. Even if it's not *my money* I'm all about making sure to get the bang for the buck. It's a way of life.

As for Roomie, she'll be checkin' that out and, instead of checking the court dockets to see how many med mal claims are filed, she might find that info on here - One Stop Shopping. Now I'm all for THAT!
