Well, Alligator Season is hunkering down on Florida residents. This morning, on the radio, there was a "warning" that we might see one of those daggone creatures sunning themselves, resting or just lookin' for some lovin' as its also mating season. Residents were warned to call the Florida authorities and they will send out one of the Gator Chasers. You ever wonder why Mickey Mouse doesn't have a family friendly gator? Wait - maybe he does - Minnie's shoes and handbag.

Apparently the gators are rampant throughout Central Florida and you can hear them at night singing with the frogs as we have a ton of swampland/lakes around these parts.

Interesting fact - if you FEED a gator, it's a federal offense. Dammit - and I was just tryin' to figure out what to do with those damn raccoons that have been hangin' out around the trash bins at our complex. Not worth facing a federal sentence for.
