Ebates - You Don't Say...

Y'all know I'm all about saving the $$$, especially when it comes to online shopping. I'd much rather pay for something combined with a coupon and get money back through going through a savings portal, normally FatWallet.

However, I've been swayed to a new and shiny new savings hub - Ebates.com. Now, before you get all cranky with me, I *heart* FatWallet, but I learned about Ebates from a friend and am pleasantly surprised. I'm finding that some of the percentages of savings are higher at Ebates and, while they give you a check/paypal payment quarterly, I find that I love to take the $$$ that's saved (the "Big Fat Check" as they call it) and send it to my savings account. They've got everything from Barnes & Noble to Cooking.com (hello - Le Creuset) to Torrid, Lane Bryant and Sephora.com (and Sephora here is 4% compared to FW's 3.3%). I'm converted. It's Ebates all the way for this gal. I've dealt with their customer service about adding more merchants and they were pleasant and easy to deal with, earnest about getting the word out about their service. AND they have a daily blog. Go figure.

So, if you are inclined to do a bit of online holiday shopping, why not try shopping through Ebates.com first - you might be pleasantly surprised when you get that "Big Fat Check".
