... Rantings, Ravings and All That Jazz...

Well, as you know, I rarely go into detail about the dayjob ("D/J"), but lets just say, the past few weeks my nerves have been shot more than Anna Nicole's prior to her "TrimSpa Baybee" mess. I've been working on a project that kinda has been keeping me up nights at 3:00 going "did I do blah blah blah".

Also in my non-news of the week - I've had a few "differences of opinion" shall we say with a couple people who I regarded as pretty decent friends. However, as I was warned by Meowmix, when one doesn't agree with the others and manipulate certain teachings to *their* benefit - these particular "buddies" will turn quicker than that damn pack of hyenas in the Lion King. Whatever - left that crap behind years ago. Yes, it's bothersome, but I really could care less what a couple of them think. So - when I saw through some of the crap, I caught the pattern and, like that song says, "So Yesterday". I'll just beat those particular individuals over the head with my broomstick (before I put it back on Nov. 1)

Also -a friend of mine starts at the D/J next week, which should be fun. He's a good kid - the only thing that's a tad unnerving is that he kinda resembles A., which is kinda spooky. On the A. front - I've heard from a couple people that A. might be living here in Florida but haven't wanted to verify that its true. I'm just hoping its a Western Mass rumor, ya know? But if he is possibly living only an hour and a half away - so not a good idea. That's a past I don't think is wise to resurrect.

Finally - I was supposed to go out of town for business this week, which unfortunately fell on my b'day and all, thwarting Meowmix & my semi-annual vacation. Also - it meant I couldn't even think about possibly flying home and spending a bit of time with the family, Meowmix, BR & Bec. Plus Reese almost flew out here but travel right now is beyond hella expensive. I was content to just get away, work my tail off and take a raincheck.

Well, I find out today that said plans to travel have been moved to FEBRUARY 2007. HELLO - I'm supposed to move and I've got my vacay to LA for the Grammys and ish. Ugh! Beyond pissy was this gal. So pissy I bought two comedy albums on iTunes to make my blond butt laugh because god knows I was far from friendly when I found out the timing on that mess. Larry the Cable guy (Former Orlando radio dj) and Jeff Foxworthy have cornered the market on stupid (in a good way).

However, in good news - the D/J is having a pumpkin carving contest and I can say our idea is beyond brilliant. Beyond beyond BEYOND! I'd tell ya what we did but then I'd have to kill ya. Tonight we've got trick or treating in the complex and Roomie is putting Shaddy in her "pretty witch" costume to scare the kiddos. Now THAT will be fun. If Shadow poses long enough, I'll post pics
